Called of God
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, here am I; send me.”
Isaiah 6:8
Was God speaking to just Isaiah when he spoke those words? Or is this a call to every believe Isaiah was God’s chosen at that point in time, to fulfill God’s purpose. This call of God is just as applicable today as it was more than 2000 years ago when Isaiah heard those words in his heart. If we ask for ears to hear, or eyes to see God is faithful to give us what we ask in his will. I must warn you, be careful what you ask for, you may just get it! This is what happened to me when I went to India. I knew there was work God had for me to do. I just didn’t know what it was. During prayer one evening I asked God to show me “whatever, wherever” show me. I believe my heart at that point in time was true and honest. I was ready for God to show me and use me. Is this your time? I know we all have a destiny. If we just open our ears, eyes, and hearts God will show us what it is! All we need to do is ask!
